Welcome to the world, little puppies!
We are so happy that your momma was found and rescued in time to make sure you came into the world healthy and safe and get to spend all your weaning time nursing with your mom. A foster is taking care of you right now, giving you their all, so that you will have a real opportunity at a happy forever home where you will be so loved.
Gracey was in the shelter, very dirty and very alone and very pregnant. In fact, she was scheduled to be euthanized, along with her puppies, just a week ago. A very nice rescuer from Peaceful Pit Bull Rescue put out the call for fosters and Stephanie, Gracey's "mom" and her husband answered the plea. They took this sweetheart home, and bathed her--she was covered in fleas and ticks. There she got food and water, a blanket and a space all her own. It was JUST IN TIME!!!! Gracey went into delivery overnight and had 9 live puppies, all pictured above, by morning. She will spend her first Mother's Day nursing and she and her babies will all be warm and safe! Foster Mom and Dad say she is doing a great job!

If you've never experienced the joy of rescuing an animal in need and giving it a second chance at life, PLEASE reconsider doing so! There are many rescues on our resource tab that would be thankful to welcome you!
If you can spare a few dollars or a few dimes--anything helps! It costs about $50 per puppy to "vet" them, ie vaccines, Spay/Neuter, etc to make sure they're healthy before they go into a forever home. Please help if you can!
